AirPlay CPU usage is high

Upon upgrading to El Capitan, my 2015 MacBook Pro Retina has run hot during the use of AirPlay to connect to AppleTV. I began monitoring the CPU and saw that CPU usage. AirPlayXPCHelper is showing a 230-250% CPU usage on my 4 core i7 MacBook Pro. Is this a known issue?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11)
